Hi Everyone!
I just finished the wedding cake for Amanda and Jeremy. It turned out really nice!
Black and Red were her colors, so the cake had red mini roses trickiling down the tiers, with black ribbon and topped with bigger red roses. While each teir was seperated with a black covered support.
I really enjoyed doing this cake!
Congrats to Amanda and Jeremy!

I just got back from St. John's Newfoundland! A family friend got married, and his bride was born and raised in Newfoundland.
They asked me to do the wedding cake for them. It was quite an interesting experience packing all of my supplies in my suitcase and taking them with me there. When i arrived, I found out they had no mixer!! so I had my husband hand mix icing for me :)
The cake was a five tiered square cake and the tiers were turned. The main color was sailor blue, and pink roses to match the brides bouquet.
The cake turned out really nice, and this was an experience of a lifetime!
Congradulations Greg & Catherine!

I was at the wedding in Newfoundland and the cake was the best I had ever scene, absolutely beautiful, and for not having some of your equipment, it turned out wonderful. Keep up the great work.

Chocolate covered Oreos have now joined the family. Watching one of my favourite shows (The little Chocolatiers) has inspired me!
I just hosted a baby shower for my sister Jen (she's due June 19th!), displayed my oreos and everyone loved them : )
Last weekend I did the first Wedding cake of the season.. for Ben & Shoshanna. Beautiful wedding, beautiful bride and fun cake!

1 week into summer and the weddings are in full swing.
I just attended the wedding of Jen and Mike. They decided on a 4 teir square cake with beads, quilting and fresh flowers. The outdoor wedding was beautiful and the rain held off just in time.
I have to share this story with you... I did a birthday cake for a friend and it had fondant stars on wire sticking out of the cake. So he told me the next day that his mom tried washing the stars because she thought they were plastic! so as she was washing them, they started disintegrating! too funny.
Anyways, enjoy your summer!

What a great summer of weddings. I just love weddings so much, all the planning and beautiful things and it is such a happy happy day. Congratulations to everyone who was married this past summer!
Starting to book weddings into 2011 now. I won't be at the wedding show in February, so if you are planning on booking email me and we can meet.
I just booked a wedding where they are having a cake and also cake pops for their favors! 2 cake pops per guest and they are each a different color with the brides initial on one and the grooms initial on the other. Too cute and a great idea!
Thanks for all the cake orders this year and don't forget to mention my name to all your friends for their special occasion!
Take care,
Kelly
